“Be Kind, Rewind” Release
Bands Mosey Jones and Gibbons did a split release with the theme of 90’s/00’s movies. They created a limited edition VHS for this release, but also understood that most people at this point do not have a VCR hooked up in their house. This page allows them to view the tape in a somewhat authentic way, with a customized video player to look as though it is a CRT TV. Getting the video player to function properly and scale to any screen size was a tougher project than expected. Click the image to see it!
Custom Events Page
This was a website that would cull information from Facebook to present a custom, organized list of upcoming events. Users could submit links to Facebook events, and the app would read the event info and sort and store it in a Firebase database. The sorted info would then be shown to the user in a digestible manner. Updates for existing events would be checked for when a user accessed the page, ensuring no information would be out of date. Facebook events are no longer as prevalent as they were pre-pandemic, so the page was shut down.
Birthday Countdown
As an inside joke with my sister, I created a website that would act as a birthday countdown for her every year. The website automatically figures out if her birthday is this year or next, and counts down from there. On her birthday, the website changes to say Happy Birthday, throws some confetti, and shows four random pictures from her entire backlog of photos on Facebook.
The Pigeon Pack Website
This is a Squarespace website, so it’s not super exciting to talk about here, but there are a few bits of custom code. The most notable would probably be on our studio page, which features a gallery of the music we’ve worked on. Depending on your device, the gallery will show up differently for maximum usability.
